What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at Katella Deli?
Katella Delicatessen-Restaurant-Bakery is seeking a on-site Administrative Assistant to join its team. This position reports directly to the Operations Manager and works closely with the restaurant, bakery, and corporate teams. This position is responsible for supporting all the administrative, operational and accounting functions, ensuring they always run smoothly, efficiently and according to Company policy.
Duties and Responsibilities
The functions include, but are not limited to the following,
- Assist in all employee compliance, onboarding, and orientation processes
- Perform general office duties such as answering phones, ordering supplies, filing, etc.
- Manage invoices, reconcile online ordering, and work to research ticket issues and change backs.
- Assist with other projects as requested
- Minimum two years general office administrative experience
- Experience with A/P and A/R and/or HR a plus
- Be able to prioritize your own work and multitask.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with MS Office suite (Word, Excel)
- Experience processing confidential information and understanding privacy laws and Company policy governing employee information
- Some working experience in a retail/hospitality organization
- Fluent in English and Spanish is preferred
