Multi-Unit Area Manager

Kava Culture Kava Bar in Central Florida is looking for an experienced Mutli-Unit Area Manager to join our growing tribe. Territory coverage; Ormond Beach, Lake Mary, Winter Springs, Lake Land, Clearwater and Tampa.

YOUR IMPACT

The Area Manager is a key member of the Operations Team and will take the lead in overseeing the Central Florida territory.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Oversee a portfolio of corporate store locations and their managers.

• Oversee operations of each location.

• Host regularly scheduled meetings with the management team.

• Analyze financial data to assess store revenue health and implement company wide or individual store optimizations to grow sales.

• Conduct interviews for new store managers.

• Train/Coach managers to build their leadership skills and direct them towards a more autonomous level.

• Delegate tasks to each manager to coordinate implementations/improvements of new structures, policies, and standards aimed at resolving issues.

• Assist with store level purchasing and inventory control.

• Participate in Leadership meetings (as needed).

• Implement budgets and cost control standards.

• Ensure Kava Culture standards are met/exceeded at store locations utilizing Operation Reviews.

• Conduct performance/development reviews and provide action plans to resolve issues identified with each manager.

• Set and track goals for each manager and their location.

• Regularly motivate the management team to boost morale and improve performance.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

This is a field operations role, which requires you to visiting each store within your portfolio weekly.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in management/hospitality required; kava knowledge a plus, but willing to train the right individual.
• Minimum 3 years of Multi-Unit Operator experience
• Solid business acumen, management, analytical, and problem-thinking skills.
• Strong computer and technical skills, including Microsoft business applications and various reporting software.
• Must have exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Strong project management, business writing and reporting skills.
• Willingness to work during peak hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Bachelors Degree or appropriate equivalent from an accredited university HIGHLY desired
• MUST have clean driving record and ability to pass background check
