Skilled facility maintenance on horse farm in Loveland, CO. On-site interview required.
Duties to include operating farm equipment (manual transmission truck, horse trailer, ATV, skidsteer, tractor, backhoe, riding mower, string trimmer, chainsaw, wood chipper, auger, grader, water wagon, manure spreader, arena groomer, welder), performing maintenance and repairs on farm equipment, maintaining service records, coordinating and scheduling repairs delegated to contractors, repairing gates and fences, clearing drainage ditches, planting and pruning trees, grading dirt and gravel driveways, monitoring health of pastures, irrigation, fire mitigation, completing small construction and planning projects, seasonal pressure washing, seasonal snow removal, upkeeping shop and barn organization, monitoring inventory and ordering supplies, some electrical and plumbing maintenance, and other tasks as needed. This position requires working independently and adhering to safety precautions. This is not an animal care position.
Must have mechanical and/or handyman knowledge and be detail-oriented. Must be punctual and accountable. This is a physically-demanding job, and involves working outside in the weather and elements. Flexible schedule.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
