Accounting Assistant

KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting has partnered with a client in North Shore MA who is looking for an Accounting Clerk to support the financial operations of a growing organization. This role includes managing accounts payable, reconciling financial records, maintaining organized filing systems, and assisting with various office and accounting tasks.

The ideal candidate will possess 1 years of relevant experience and is detail-oriented, reliable, and proficient in QuickBooks or similar accounting software and Excel.

Responsibilities For The Accounting Clerk

• Accounts Payable: Accurately enter invoices, reconcile vendor accounts, and process payments.
• Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations:
• Maintain and organize filing systems for financial documentation and business records.
• Provide support for special projects and other assigned tasks to assist with operational needs.
• Perform other bookkeeping and administrative duties as required.
  
  

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency with QuickBooks or other accounting related ERP’s, Intermediate Excel
• 2 years of relevant bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable experience
• Ability to manage time effectively, solve problems, and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with owners and team members at all levels.
