This AP Accountant is responsible for performing clerical support duties in the Accounts Payable. Receives general instructions on routine assignments, and detailed instructions on new assignments.
Essential Functions
- Conduct Monthly Reconciliation of Balance Sheet Accounts (including Freight Payable, Accrued Payables, and other relevant accounts) to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Process Invoices Promptly by adhering to established procedures, ensuring timely payment while meeting internal deadlines and supplier requirements.
- Verify Purchase Orders (POs) by carefully analyzing and tracking them to ensure consistency and accuracy before proceeding with payments.
- Facilitate Electronic Payments by preparing and processing EFTs, wires, and ACH transactions as required, ensuring timely and error-free payments.
- Prepare Year-End Reports and Accruals in line with accounting guidelines, ensuring proper financial records are maintained for year-end closing.
- Maintain Organized Accounts Payable Records through accurate filing and documentation practices, ensuring easy retrieval and compliance during audits and reviews.
Salary : $55,000 - $75,000
