Summer Feeding Program Site Supervisor/ Driver
The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) Driver is required to pick up and drop off meals at assigned SFSP site locations throughout the designated service area in a timely manner. The SFSP Driver will work closely with other SFSP personnel (drivers, food vendor employees, and site supervisors). This is a temporary part time position from mid May to mid-August. Hours for this position will be between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM and will require up to 39 hours per week.

Required Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED preferred but not required
A valid Kentucky driver's license with a verifiable good driving record
Must be at least 18 years of age
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Follow all state traffic laws and regulations
Counting, loading and unloading meals on delivery vehicle at designated pick up/drop off sites
Delivery of meals to assigned SFSP site locations, prompt and safely
Ensure the safety of food complying with state and local health and safety standards
Account for the accuracy of delivered meals with site supervisor
Return vehicle to designated location and log mileage on designated form
Organization of gas/food receipts, timesheets, and any other paperwork required
Other duties as assigned

Work Environment:
This job operates in indoor and outdoor public locations. Incumbents must be able to sit in a vehicle and stand/lift for extended periods of time. This role routinely drives a delivery vehicle and collaborates with other SFSP personnel. This position requires traveling primarily within designated counties. Candidates are required to have a valid driver's license to attend job related duties.
