What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Equipment Assembler position at KCM Technical?
**About the Role:**
We are looking for an experienced Industrial Equipment Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, an in-depth knowledge of metric prints, and an understanding of assembly technology and/or metal cutting principles.
Responsibilities:
- Support installations and service calls at client's customer sites
- Assemble and start-up new CNC machines and assembly equipment
- Read and follow mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical prints/drawings
- Respond to emergency calls from customers in a timely manner
Requirements:
- Previous CNC machining or machine building experience preferred
- Previous experience with assembly equipment and robotic cells preferred
- Ability to travel on short notice approximately 70% of the calendar year as required for business needs
