Position Summary:
The Commercial Operations Specialist plays a key support role within the Commercial Team, assisting with operational and administrative tasks to improve commercial processes and drive operational efficiency. This role serves as a bridge between sales and other departments to ensure smooth execution of commercial initiatives. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset, exceptional organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Directly support the Commercial Team to deliver on customer needs and commercial objectives.
Maintain and analyze commercial data, including sales pipeline, prospecting lists, pricing, contracts, and business KPI’s.
Generate and publish reports, dashboards, and insights related to sales performance, revenue trends, and key commercial metrics.
Support forecasting and budgeting efforts by analyzing sales data and pipeline activity.
Help implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Facilitate internal meetings and updates related to commercial processes, ensuring alignment across departments.
Coordinate and support customer meetings, workshops, and planning sessions, ensuring seamless execution by managing agendas, materials, and follow-ups.
Assist with travel logistics and scheduling for key commercial engagements, working closely with stakeholders to optimize planning and participation.
Collaborate with commercial team members on administrative tasks such as CRM maintenance to ensure accurate data tracking.
Assist with external data management, customer data management, and assessment of new sales tools.
Facilitate onboarding and training processes for Commercial team members.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field.
3 years of experience in commercial operations, sales support, or project coordination (preferably in a manufacturing or beauty industry setting).
Strong proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent).
Advanced Excel skills and experience with data visualization tools like Power BI is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
