We are seeking Camp Counselors to join our team at KE Camps, the leading provider of summer camps for country clubs nationwide.
Job Summary
As a Camp Counselor, you will be an integral part of our camp programs and will work closely with our Camp Directors to create a fun and safe experience for our campers. We pride ourselves on giving our staff the support they need to excel in their roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with a group of campers to provide a fun, safe and exciting camp experience
- Cooperate with fellow Counselors and Camp Director to achieve program goals
- Greet families and campers upon arrival and establish a positive relationship
- Support Camp Director in establishing rules and emergency procedures with campers
- Participate in all camp activities, including swim time supervision
- Help out where needed and lead activities when assigned by the Camp Director
Counselor Qualities
- Ability to help children grow in character, experiences and insights
- Ability to guard the health and well-being of campers at all times
- Capable of sustaining energy for participation in a full day's worth of activities
- Prior experience working with children
- Enthusiastic, responsible, dependable, consistent, level-headed, flexible and calm in all situations
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to become certified before the summer begins)
