Lifeguard Supervisor - Summer Day Camp

Rolling Hills Day Camp is looking for POOL SUPERVISOR to join our waterfront staff.

Rolling Hills is located on 20 acres near the Marlboro/ Freehold border. We are easily accessible to Route 9, 18, 79 and 520. We have staff and campers from Ocean to Rumson and everywhere in between.

Our campers range in age from 3-12 and come to camp for a minimum of 4 weeks. The younger campers have their schedule chosen for them while campers entering second grade and older can begin to choose from our elective based program. Rolling Hills campers participate in: arts, swim,theater, all sports, archery, nature, go karts, mt. bikes, science,climbing tower, ropes course, gymnastics, dance and more.

Our staff consists of college students and teachers who run our activity areas. College students and teachers work as group counselors who are with the same group of campers throughout the entire day all summer. We also hire high school juniors and seniors to assist our teachers and college students in both groups and activity areas. Staff that work at Rolling Hills Day Camp are positive, happy, responsible and flexible.

Camp Dates: June 30 - August 22
Monday- Friday: 8:30-4:30
Camp Closed July 4th

Our Swim Facilities and Programs include:

3 heated pools with slides

We follow the Red Cross Swim Levels. Each lifeguard instructs the same group of children all summer to build trust and form bonds.

We want our campers to acquire skills that will build self-esteem and allow them to grow. We have separate facilities for the different age groups so that as our campers grow older, the pool they swim in is always age appropriate. Our pools are well maintained and cleaned daily.

We offer our teachers a wonderful atmosphere to teach in and give much needed support to help run a top-notch program. Our directors and head of the pool guide you through the camp season from orientation till the last day. We ensure that you do not feel overwhelmed and always feel appreciated. Many of our teachers return year after year, but we are constantly looking for new enthusiastic and energetic staff.
