Ke Nui Kitchen is currently seeking a reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Baker’s Assistant and Pastry Production Team Member. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a professional kitchen environment and gain hands-on experience in both bread baking and pastry creation.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting the head baker with the preparation and production of baked goods, including breads, pastries, and specialty desserts
- Measuring and mixing ingredients according to standardized recipes
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
- Preparing fillings, glazes, and decorative elements for pastries
- Monitoring inventory levels and assisting with ingredient restocking
- Following food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a bakery or commercial kitchen is preferred, but not required
- Strong interest in baking and pastry arts
- Ability to work early morning shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products
- Strong communication skills and a cooperative team attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
