Keene Housing’s (KH) Occupancy Specialist provides the opportunity for an individual to work at one of the nation’s leaders in affordable housing policy development. As participants in the US Department of Housing and Urban Development’s groundbreaking Moving to Work Demonstration program (MTW), KH is blazing new trails in the areas of policy reform, affordable housing development, and resident services.
The Occupancy Specialist manages the housing waiting lists, collects data in compliance with HUD, Rural Development and KH regulations and determines applicant eligibility. This individual monitors vacancy trends and creates strategies to achieve target lease-up and utilization rates. This individual must demonstrate superior customer service, a professional attitude, strong time management and organizational skills and excellent written correspondence. Qualified candidates must have a college degree or equivalency, a minimum of 1 year related experience and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
