About the Role
Kelly Generator & Equipment is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Service Technician Scheduler to join our Service team. As a Service Technician Scheduler, you will be responsible for coordinating and dispatching our service technicians.
Main Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule service technicians for planned maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.
- Manage and distribute incoming/outgoing mail and packages.
- Provide general administrative/clerical support to all departments as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
- Support technicians for parts and tools for assigned work.
- Ensure scheduling goals are met.
- Respond to customer inquiries.
- Participate in ON-CALL rotation for dispatch.
- Maintains professional appearance.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in logistics, transportation, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Dispatcher or in a similar role, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
- Knowledge of transportation systems, dispatch software, and GPS tracking systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions.
- Proficient in using computer systems and software.
