Position : Field Service Engineer

Type : Direct Hire

Location : Santa Monica, CA

Travel : 75%; throughout the US (Expenses covered, home on most weekends)

Salary Range : $70K-$85K

SUMMARY

Kelly Engineering is seeking a qualified Field Service Engineer for a direct hire role with our client in Santa Monica, CA. You will be responsible for servicing radiographic and digital X-Ray systems and medical X-Ray equipment in clinics, hospitals, and imaging centers. Our client has been a business for 40 years and is a full-service imagine equipment and medical supply distributor.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair various types of X-Ray equipment including Universal, Del Medical, Carestream, Americomp, TXR, etc.
  • Install and service pharmaceutical contrast power injectors
  • Document and update service tickets and online service logs
  • Participating in sales opportunities including equipment sales, contract renewals, etc.
  • End user training

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering or technology preferred
  • Candidates with extensive experience will be considered in place of degree
  • Experience in industrial X-Ray technology
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electronic components in x-ray equipment
  • Able to travel 75% of the time
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy-to-understand manner
  • Open to learning new technologies and applying knowledge
  • Clean driving history

    • DESIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Experience with DR, CR, PACS, Digital Printers, Digitizers, etc.
  • Experience with TCP / IP and general computer networking fundamentals
  • Basic Computer troubleshooting and configuration
  • Comfortable driving a 16-20’ truck for X-Ray equipment installations
