Automotive Accounting Clerk

The Accounting Clerk audits incoming deals on compliance of vehicle sales and revenue recognition. Responsible for posting deals into accounting system, verifying all revenue, gross, commissions, receivable & payable, and all supporting documents with the deal.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Review incoming deals for completeness/accuracy of paperwork.
• Follow up on corrections needed for non-compliance.
• Post deals into accounting.
• Verify schedules for completeness of deal.
• Prepares and files finalized deals.
• Reconciles factory inventory against general inventory.
• Reconciles various general ledger schedules.
• Prepare pay off checks on trade-ins daily.
• Filing when necessary.
• Communicates all issues with management as they arise.
• Maintains professional appearance and neat work area in accordance with company policy.
• Upholds the company’s non-disclosure and confidentiality policies.
• Attends department meetings as required.
• Other duties as assigned

Applicants must be 18 years or older and be authorized to work in the U.S. Applicants are also required to have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Other requirements include completing and passing both a background and drug test as a condition of employment.
