Location : Hybrid. Up to 25% travel to home office in Ann Arbor, MI

Salary : 39K-45K per year

This exciting role is responsible for performing recruiting-related duties and working closely with department supervisors and directors to determine staffing needs. The right person for this role will be creative and systematic in their approach to ensure the hiring process leads to positive outcomes for new team members such as higher job satisfaction, better job performance, and greater organizational commitment.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will oversee the full cycle of recruiting and work to ensure the candidate and new hire experience align with our mission and Core Values :

  • Position Specifics :

  • Collaborate with team members and senior leadership in the development and execution of full cycle recruitment
  • Provide a positive and exciting candidate experience from initial interviews to onboarding New Hires
  • Assist in creating and maintaining job descriptions and posts on multiple job boards and social media sites
  • Assist with online and in-person job fairs
  • Ability to work in a fast pace setting, experience with non-exempt positions
  • Assists in managing the companies Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Reviews resumes daily and conducts phone screen / interviews of applicants
  • Schedules in person / virtual and phone interviews for all hiring managers across all Kennedy Care companies
  • Responsible for completing reference checks on new hires across all Kennedy Care companies
  • Build applicant pool by researching and contacting local resources
  • Provide clear and efficient documentation
  • Use of electronic software
  • Complete assigned training and education as necessary

    Requirements

  • Must live in the state of Michigan or Ohio
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration is preferred, Associates Degree OR minimum of 2 to 4 years of related experience is required
  • Must be flexible and can easily pivot based on the needs of the business
  • Must be autonomous and effective working in a hybrid position
  • Must be able to travel to the home office in Ann Arbor, MI 25% of the time
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
  • Great at building relationships both internally and externally
  • A desire to have mastery of HR and ATS related software
