Role: Operations Specialist
Kennedy Industries is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Operations Specialist to join our team on-site in Wixom, MI.
As an Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and timely quotations for our customers while supporting various operational tasks to ensure smooth business operations. Your expertise in operations, customer support and project management will contribute to our overall sales strategy and customer satisfaction.
Essential Functions
- Analyze customer inquiries and assist with quoting for new projects.
- Evaluate pricing structures, costs, and market trends to set competitive and profitable prices.
- Collaborate with inside sales, procurement, and project management to gather information for accurate quoting.
- Review and negotiate terms and conditions to ensure they align with company policies and customer requirements.
- Maintain and update quotations, pricing information, and customer feedback databases.
- Monitor and track quotation progress, follow up with customers, and provide necessary updates.
- Support the inside sales team by answering inquiries related to quotations and pricing.
- Enter field technician daily time, file job field reports, and track jobs in the ERP system, sending completed jobs to billing.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure accuracy and availability.
- Schedule and coordinate training sessions with new and existing customers.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven work experience within Business Operations or in a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data and written communication.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of sales strategies and customer relationship management is a plus.
