DESCRIPTION:
The Customer Care Representative (remote) will help set up payment plans, document account issues, and assist with offering log term solutions to lower the amount due.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Listen and offer solutions to upset customers
- Represent our clients in a positive, professional, and ethical manner while working to exceed customer and company expectations
- Follow Collection laws, processes and procedures
- Identify and escalate priority issues to the leadership team
- Accurately process and record call transactions
- Stay current on system changes, Collection law updates and training
- Manage Call time effectively in order to obtain performance criteria objectives
REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to speak clearly and professionally
- Experience with debt collections, call center work, or soft sales is a plus
- Must have a friendly and positive approach to difficult situations
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Type at least 25 wpm with >85% accuracy
