Chief Financial Officer - Private Equity backed services company
Our client is a middle market sized, field services company backed by a leading private equity firm. The company is a market leader in their space and well positioned for continued expansion, which will be driven both organically and through a more aggressive M&A strategy. The CFO will play a critical role in their growth and success over the next several years. This role will work at both a strategic level, helping to influence the direction of the company but also in a hands-on capacity, working closely with their branch and regional leaders in the field.
Must have experience :
- Currently reside in the greater Houston area. There is not a hybrid or commuting option.
- Previous CFO experience a must, preferably from a services business with a similar model and labor force. Experience working in a business model with a highly dispersed workforce comparable in size is critical. Some examples of industries that align well : Industrial Services, Security Services, Landscaping, HVAC services, Environmental Services, Building / Facility Services, Pest Control Services, etc. Business with a multi-site, multi-state model.
- Experience in a successful private equity backed business, with a track record of growth and success ideally leading to a successful exit.
- MBA and CPA highly preferred.
