As a Clerk II you'll plan a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring smooth court operations and making a meaningful impact in our community.
The successful candidate will provide clerical support for the 63rd District Court including providing customer service in person, over the phone and by email; receipting payments; verifying and balancing cash drawer; data entry of case information into the court’s electronic case management system; processing garnishments and other court filings; preparing and mailing documents to parties. May fill in for other Court staff as necessary.
63rd District Court is a supportive environment where your contributions are valued, and your professional growth is encouraged.High school graduate or GED and one year of clerical experience. Equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.
Requires skill in filing, maintaining office records and operating various office equipment. Must be self-motivated, organized, detail oriented and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook applications. Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with diverse populations are essential.
*Court or legal environment experience desirable.
