Basic Function:
Responsible for contributing to the achievement of university enrollment goals by supporting and communicating admissions policies and procedures to transfer students, families, community college advisers, and campus partners. As a point of contact for transfer students and families for their transfer recruitment territory, this position will manage the enrollment process for transfer students, act as a liaison for potential transfer students with academic departments and university service units, work with faculty and staff to evaluate and update transfer equivalencies, research sending institutions general education curriculum, prepare unofficial transcripts, and speak at events related to transfer students in other Enrollment Management offices. Reports to the Senior Associate Director of Admissions.

Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following:
Participate in regular advising visits with community colleges in service region to discuss transfer concerns with students and advisers.
Assist in reviewing transcripts to determine transferability of two and four-year college credits to the university; course transferability will be determined through university policy and appropriate university established procedures.
Provide recommendations regarding transfer student services and provides solutions for challenges, enhances existing practices including advisement, articulation agreements/partnerships, and transfer support services;
Plan and organize outreach to prospective transfer students and their families, particularly those from under-represented groups.
Serve as a liason to help connect transfer students to their individual colleges.
Maintain a strong knowledge base on all academic programs.
Participate in academic training initiatives to stay current on advising issues.
Develop close relationships with community college leadership in order to maintain current articulation agreements and toward the establishment of new agreements.
Work closely with the Credit Transfer Office to ensure currency of transfer information.
Serve as an integral part of an Enrollment Management team charged with the responsibility of identifying, recruiting, enrolling and retaining a highly qualified new student class each year.
Conduct ongoing outreach and engages with prospective students via phone, email and in person.

Master’s degree in a related field and a minimum of three years of student advising, admissions or related experience in higher education to include experience working with and interacting with diverse student populations is required.
