Position Summary: Health Advocates will support the implementation and management of harm reduction services, including Syringe Services Programs (SSP), and provide navigation services to ensure linkage to HIV and viral hepatitis prevention, testing, treatment, and care services. The Health Advocate will also help with other programs such as WIC, the clinic, as well as providing administrative support. Implement and manage SSP services.
· Provide education on safer injection practices and reversing drug overdoses.
· Distribute testing kits for HIV and viral hepatitis.
· Offer navigation services to connect clients to care.
· Conduct community outreach and education sessions.
· Participate in mobile education and prevention programs.

Minimum Educational Requirements: High school graduate or GED.
Minimum Experience Requirements: Experience in community outreach, health education, or related fields.

Number of Hours per Week: 37.5 hours @ $17.60/hour
