What are the responsibilities and job description for the ARCH Site Coordinator position at Kentwood Public Schools?
- In cooperation with the ARCH admin team and other Site Coordinators, is responsible for the planning, organization, implementation, and supervision of activities at the assigned site. Consults weekly with the ARCH admin team on all programming.
- Demonstrated ability to differentiate activities by using a variety of styles, and inspire mixed culture and ability classes by creating challenging and engaging learning opportunities for all students.
- Responsible for proper supervision of student participants to create a safe and positive environment. Monitors, documents, and reports student disciplinary issues.
- Responsible for monitoring, documenting, reporting enrollment, attendance, EZ reports, CACFP, and disciplinary issues in consultation with the ARCH admin team.
- Maintains student and staff records and reports including, but not limited to, daily attendance, EZ reports, and CACFP.
- Collaborates with school day staff to identify, recommend, and recruit students into the ARCH program.
- Maintains a safe and clean atmosphere and environment; coordinates the inventory and ensures proper maintenance and storage of all supplies and equipment.
- Effective verbal and written communication with parents of participants as needed in a professional manner.
- Demonstrates courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with public and staff; acts in a manner that promotes a harmonious and effective workplace environment.
- Attends professional development and staff meetings as scheduled.
- Supervises and assists in evaluating activity leaders at the assigned site and works cooperatively and effectively with all team members.
- Grant requirements and licensing regulations.

Position: ARCH - Site Coordinator - Pinewood
Schedule: 40hours a week 52 weeks a year
Purpose: Under the general direction and supervision of the ARCH admin team, this position is responsible for the planning, organization, implementation, and evaluating of the ARCH summer and after school programs at the assigned site. Responsibilities include coordination and consultation with the ARCH admin team in the development and implementation of academic, enrichment, and recreational activities at the site, while creating a safe and positive environment for participants, staff, and volunteers. Assist in interfacing school day curriculum into after school and summer activities and direct site staff to carry out program objectives in a positive, timely, and creative manner. Responsible for protecting and preserving the assets of Kentwood Public Schools.
Essential Job Functions:
Equipment: Uses standard office equipment such as personal computers, printer, copy and fax machines, and telephone.
