What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dispatcher position at Keolis?
Rate of Pay : $
Knowledge and Experience
- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid CDL
- Must have at least one (1) year previous experience in dispatch role
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Bilingual - English / Spanish
- Must be able to multitask
- Ability to shift priorities and make decisions on detours when necessary
- Previous experience in the transit industry either as a driver or dispatcher, preferably in a paratransit environment a plus
- Must be dependable with reliable transportation to get to and from work
- Computer literate using a Windows-based computer operating systems, which includes Excel
- Strong knowledge of the service area (Multi County area including DC)
- Must be able and willing to work all schedules, that may include nights, weekends and holidays
- Must be able to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment and communicate at all times in a professional and courteous manor
- Must able to work in a union environment
- Must be able to pass a pre employment drug screen and background check
