Main Responsibilities
- Lead your team to achieve shift production targets while ensuring a safe and efficient operation that meets or exceeds quality standards.
- Coordinate with warehouse, maintenance, and quality control departments to optimize efficiency and compliance with policies and procedures.
- Meet production plans, negotiate or justify changes as needed.
- Manage resources (people, materials, equipment, and capital) for efficient production.
Daily Tasks
- Perschedule personnel, conduct regular visual line checks, and ensure proper production, dating, labeling, and packaging of product.
- Review production paperwork, collect and track data, and report information and variances to management.
- Analyze situations outside normal responsibility and make decisions on how to proceed.
- Communicate directly with regulatory, safety, and health authorities in case of a plant emergency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience at a supervisor level (minimum 4 years).
- Familiarity with food manufacturing, preferably with experience in MS Office and SAP.
- Ability to manage, train, and develop employees.
- Capable of multi-tasking and delegating functions.
