What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician NWA position at Keyrenter Property Management Northwest Arkansas?
We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team! You will be responsible for completing work orders and other required tasks.
The Role:
As a maintenance technician, you will respond to work orders, communicate with residents to coordinate service, and identify and solve tenant concerns, all while maintaining open communication channels, providing estimated costs to complete, and confirming approval for work with property managers and/or owners. By both communicating and solving these problems quickly, you would be able to reduce wait times and increase customer satisfaction as compared to an outside 3rd party vendor.
A certain portion of your workload would be planning and carrying out renovation projects of various sizes.
Success in this role is obtained by being quick and accurate in locating and solving the issues that arise at Keyrenter managed properties while ensuring correct identification and solutions to the problems. Additionally, the correct applicant will be hyper-communicative with tenants, owners, and property managers; this person will be sure to keep everyone in the loop and on the same page. Finally, the ability to successfully manage and coordinate the timing of jobs will be critical to the overall success of this role.
Responsibilities:
- Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion
- Estimate time and extent of repairs
- Perform routine preventive maintenance
- Maintain material and supply inventory
- Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields
- Valid driver's license/reliable vehicle/current auto insurance
- Have a smart phone and ability to use it to complete documentation of work
- Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Toolset consistent with being able to complete most normal home repairs
