Job Summary: Keystone Compliance is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Operations Manager to oversee all financial aspects of our organization. The Financial Operations Manager will be responsible for financial reporting, budget management, cash flow analysis, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role also includes a key strategic component, helping to drive business decisions and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management:
- Manage all accounting operations including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, time reporting, revenue recognition, and job profitability.
- Pay all vendor bills promptly and accurately.
- Generate detailed financial reports, such as job profitability analysis and revenue trends, and present them to senior management.
- Prepare and publish timely financial statements for internal and external audiences.
- Assist senior management with budgeting and strategic planning.
- Conduct cash flow analysis to ensure liquidity and optimize financial performance.
- Strategic Financial Analysis:
- Use advanced Excel skills to generate custom reports that provide guidance on maximizing profitability and reducing expenses.
- Utilize AI tools to perform SWOT analysis and gain a better understanding of the business.
- Consolidate data and present actionable recommendations to senior management and ownership.
- Human Resources Support:
- Assist with managing HR functions, including employee onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance.
- Generate and process payroll for all employees.
- Serve as the primary contact for financial relationships, including banking, employee benefits, and insurance.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with financial partners.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Advanced experience with Excel, including formulas, tables, and macros, with at least four years of hands-on experience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Proficiency in forecasting, financial analysis, and technical accounting.
- Experience in HR functions is a plus.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software.
