Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
Execute company strategies in the areas of Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Talent Management and Talent Engagement.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local laws governing employment
- Promptly investigate and address ethical issues and employee concerns to the maximum satisfaction of our customer(s)
- Participate in, contribute to and potentially lead various committees, such as quality and safety
- Travel to Rosemont, IL for annual meetings or other Distribution Centers as needed
- Be a champion of change
- Any other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Experience:
College Degree- 5 years of recent human resources experience
- Self-motivated and disciplined team player
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to creatively solve problems in a fast-paced environment
- Sound organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize and multi-task to ensure deadlines are met
- Exhibit a sense of urgency and focus on results while remaining flexible
- Professional self-presentation
- Proven track record of developing successful customer/business partnerships
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate business needs, think proactively and respond appropriately
- Experience on leadership teams, influencing decision-makers
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite with intermediate Excel skills
- Ability to effectively navigate and utilize various HRIS programs
- Must pass post-offer background check and drug test
Preferred Skills and Experience:
PHR/SPHR certification a plus- Food distribution experience preferred
- Union awareness training and ability to deploy strategies a plus
- Experience supporting multi-shift environments (ie distribution or manufacturing) preferred
- Occasionally required to lift/carry materials/product weighing up to 50 lbs
- Multi-temperature warehouse, including freezers, coolers and dry storage areas and will occasionally require exposure to temperature ranges from 20 degrees to 100 degrees
