Kforce's client, a company in Eatontown, NJ that has been in business for 40 years, is looking to hire an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their growing team. The AP Specialist will be responsible for managing and processing vendor invoices, ensuring accurate and timely payments, reconciling accounts, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors. This is a hybrid position right off the Garden State Parkway. It offers excellent benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Paid Holidays & more. - Process and review invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper authorization
- Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts
- Code and enter invoices into the accounting system
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with company policies
- Assist with month-end closing processes and accruals
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries and discrepancies
- Support internal audits and compliance requirements
- Collaborate with other departments to improve accounts payable processes
- 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable principles and best practices
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools
