Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking an Atlan Data Catalog Consultant in New York, NY. Summary: The Atlan Data Catalog Consultant will play a pivotal role in configuring and optimizing the Atlan Data Catalog for clients, ensuring effective data governance and seamless integration with datasets to enhance data discoverability and usability. Responsibilities:

• Configure and customize the Atlan Data Catalog to meet client-specific data governance requirements and best practices
• Establish connections to various datasets, building out comprehensive data dictionaries and defining data standards
• Enrich metadata within the Atlan platform to improve data discoverability and usability for end-users
• Implement and establish data lineage tracking to provide visibility into data flow and transformations across the organization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to data management best practices and facilitate effective data governance
  
  

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Atlan Data Catalog, including installation, configuration, and optimization
• Experience with metadata management and establishing data lineage
• Strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices
• Proficiency in building data dictionaries and defining data standards
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
