Backend Software Developer (NodeJS)

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Greenwood Village, CO that is seeking a Backend Software Developer (NodeJS). Summary: The Backend Software Developer will focus on building and optimizing back-end services for a large-scale configuration management application. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing data exchange between the server and user-facing applications while ensuring high performance, quality, and responsiveness. The Backend Software Developer will collaborate closely with front-end developers to integrate their components seamlessly into the application. Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services for a large-scale configuration management application
• Design and implement efficient, scalable, and secure back-end logic using NodeJS
• Define, maintain, and optimize databases to ensure seamless data exchange
• Develop and manage microservices-based architecture to support application scalability
• Leverage AWS services such as S3, EMR, and Lambda step functions for cloud-based solutions
• Utilize Python scripting for automation and data processing tasks
• Work closely with front-end developers to integrate their components into the backend
• Ensure the application meets high-performance, security, and reliability standards
  
  

Requirements

• Strong experience with NodeJS for backend development
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems
• Proficiency in AWS services such as S3, EMR, and Lambda step functions
• Experience with Python scripting for backend automation and data handling
• Expertise in NoSQL databases for scalable and efficient data storage solutions
• Experience with TypeScript for front-end development preferred
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
