RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Los Angeles, CA that is seeking a Change Management & Communications Consultant.
Summary:
Our client is implementing Smartsheet Control Center as a Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tool in a transformational initiative spanning the next 6-12 months. This implementation will introduce significant changes to how Project Managers (PMs) and Project Owners operate, addressing challenges related to capacity constraints and the lack of standardization in project planning and management. The project will roll out new tools, processes, and standardized practices where none previously existed. To ensure success, this project demands a methodical and sustained approach to end-user adoption, with a focus on minimizing confusion and mitigating resistance.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the Change Management and Communications Workstream for the Smartsheet Control Center implementation, partnering closely with the Project Manager
* Develop and execute effective communication strategies to support end-users and impacted stakeholders
* Collaborate with the project team to understand the impact of planned changes and align communication efforts accordingly
* Tailor communication strategies to various audiences, ensuring complex ideas are translated into clear and impactful messages
* Track and measure the effectiveness of communications initiatives, incorporating stakeholder feedback to refine strategies as needed
* Design, manage, and maintain a comprehensive change communication and training rollout plan
* Facilitate bi-directional communication by engaging stakeholders and understanding their perspectives
* Coordinate all aspects of training logistics, including preparing and distributing invites, tracking attendance, providing training materials, and ensuring timely follow-ups
* Update and maintain supporting documentation, such as Quick Reference Guides (QRGs), process guides, and other communication assets
REQUIREMENTS:
* 4-5 years of change management experience in a retail IT environment is nice to have
* Proven experience leading change management and communications efforts in large-scale, transformative projects
* Ability to develop and implement strategic communication plans tailored to diverse audiences
* Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to facilitate bi-directional communication effectively
* Exceptional organizational skills to manage logistics, training rollouts, and documentation updates
* Experience implementing Smartsheet Control Center is nice to have
* This role is critical in driving the successful adoption of new processes and tools, ensuring a smooth transition for end-users and fostering lasting organizational improvements
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
