What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive BDC / Call Center Agent position at Kia Mall of Georgia?
Mall of Georgia Chrysler Dodge Jeep and Kia Mall of Georgia are looking for a friendly, hardworking individual with great phone skills to fulfill the Service Business Development Center position. Our business is growing rapidly, and we are looking for an energetic individual with great customer service skills to join our team. Automotive service BDC experience is preferred but we do offer training!
Pay:
- Pay starts at $17 per hour base, with increase opportunities based on performance - plus weekly commission with great earning potential! Monthly bonuses can be earned as well when certain repair order goals are met.
Job Responsibilities:
- We need someone who can maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
- Learn our processes / procedures to help answer questions & address concerns.
- Learn about the importance of vehicle maintenance and safety recalls.
- Communicate and coordinate with colleagues as necessary.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.
- Answering inbound calls.
- Outbound calls include but are not limited to safety recalls, recommended services, special order parts, declined repairs, pre-paid maintenance, and Customer Retention lists.
- Make daily call quota.
- Respond to inbound internet leads by phone, text message, and email.
- Schedule service appointments.
- Reschedule missed service appointments.
- Book appointments based on maintenance schedule per brand and in accordance with company policies and manufacturers specifications.
- Assist with answering customer inquiries and problems by routing customer to the contact and or department.
- Understand the terminology of the automobile business and keep abreast of technology changes.
- Follow all attendance and punctuality standards and adhere to timekeeping standards; Employees are required to record the beginning and end times of any shift, break or departure from work for personal reasons.
- Follow the Company Code of Business Ethics and Conduct.
- Understand and follow all work rules and procedures and follow lawful directions from Supervisors.
- Uphold the company's non-disclosure and confidentiality policies and agreements.
- Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with company policy.
- Attend pertinent training and stay current with the service department concerns and service techniques.
- Other duties as assigned by your Supervisor.
Requirements
- Ability to stay calm when customers are stressed or upset.
- Must be able to work some Saturdays (Saturday shift rotates).
- High school diploma, general education degree, or equivalent.
- Comfortable using computers and phones.
- Experience working with customer support.
- Friendliness, enthusiasm, reliability, with a positive, team-player attitude.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Successful completion of assessment/personality test, drug screen, and background check.
- Interacting and talking with new people.
- Working independently but contributing to the team as needed.
