Kiddie Academy of Seattle at Greenwood, our newest Kiddie Academy in the region is opening soon! We are looking for an energetic, organized, experienced and inspiring professional to join us as Center Director. We are Kiddie Academy (KAGS Group). A group of locally owned educational childcare centers in the Greater Seattle area. KAGS Group academies are located at Bellevue, Bothell, Kenmore, Kirkland, Mill Creek, and Seattle.
Position Overview:
You will be responsible for managing the overall operations of our high-quality early childhood education program including enhancing and implementing our award-winning Life Essentials® Curriculum, staff management, scheduling, hiring, enrollment, family relationships, and academy events.
Position Requirements:
- Minimum two (2) years of full-time experience in managing center-based programs as a Center Director.
- Meet all requirements for a Center Director per WA Licensing regulations (WAC) or be willing to get them shortly after joining.
- A thorough knowledge of WAC for childcare centers and a great understanding of developmentally appropriate practices.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Action oriented, organized, strategic thinker, focused on getting the right things done
