What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nutritional Coordinator for Child Care position at Kids Learning Centers?
We are looking for a friendly and experienced child care cook to give our children the helathy meals they need. The ideal candidate will have a background working with children (preferably outside of the home) and will be experienced in driving children to and from school. This position is best suited for an individual with a flexible work schedule and availabilityMonday through Friday during the hours of 8:00 am until 3:30 pm. Responsibilities
- Prepare delicious, healthy menu items and deliver to classroom-based on snack and lunch schedule
- Maintains a clean, safe, and sanitary environment per procedure and childcare licensing requirements
- Maintains the inventory of food items and prepares grocery list for ordering
- Works with the teacher and leadership teams by communicating and contributing information on a continuous basis
- Enjoys a fast-paced environment and always has a smile to share
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a preschool environment
- Energetic, nurturing, positive, child-friendly personality
- Shows initiative; strong work ethic
- High school diploma
- Be responsible for children's safety.
- Follow the Code of Practice as set out by KELC.
- Have a current CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) check.
