Overview
The ABA Center Receptionist / Administrative Assistant is a critical first point of contact for clients, families, and staff. This role combines front desk operations with additional administrative duties, including client intake processing, HR support, and maintenance of employee records. The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Greet visitors and clients warmly, ensuring a positive first impression of the organization.
- Manage incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate personnel and taking messages when necessary.
- Maintain an organized front desk area, including managing office supplies and equipment.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation.
- Support team members with various clerical duties to enhance productivity.
- Ensure all communications are handled professionally and promptly.
Documentation & Record Keeping:
- Update and manage client records and ensure information is current and accurate in the center’s database.
Human Resources Support
- Employee Files Management:
- Assist in maintaining and updating employee files, ensuring all documentation complies with company policies and legal requirements.
- HR Process Assistance:
- Support the HR department with onboarding tasks, such as scheduling interviews, preparing new hire packets, and coordinating training sessions.
- Assist with tracking employee attendance, leave, and other HR-related records.
- Update and manage client records and ensure information is current and accurate in the center’s database.
Skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience in front desk operations or as an administrative clerk is preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- High level of computer literacy with the ability to quickly adapt to new software and tools.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Tasks:
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Center Manager or Administrative Manager.
Working Conditions
- Work is primarily performed in an office environment within the ABA center.
- Regular interaction with a diverse group of clients, families, and employees.

Pay: $15.00 - $19.56 per hour
