Position Overview

As an Equipment Maintenance Specialist on our evening team, your responsibility will involve timely preventive care and urgent repairs on diverse machinery sets. Expect to work Monday through Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., with a competitive starting pay of $32.00/hour, plus a shift differential and sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare machinery for production runs
• Engage with operators to pinpoint issues and perform necessary repairs
• Document and follow adjustment procedures using technical manuals
• Ensure all equipment remains in optimal condition with complete repairs
• Conduct significant overhauls on certain packaging machines
• Implement routine maintenance strategies
• Propose and execute approved equipment modifications
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and GMP
• Provide shift coverage when required
• Operate independently or within a collaborative team
• Complete additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of mechanical skills in a fast-paced packaging or manufacturing setting, preferably in food production
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance approaches
• Shift work adaptability
• Proficiency in multitasking within dynamic environments
• Deep understanding of health and safety protocols
• Computerized maintenance management familiarity is beneficial
• Detail orientation with a service-focused mindset
• Team-oriented with notable problem-solving acumen

Work Requirements

• Physically capable of handling medium work tasks ranging from lifting to coordination
• Ability to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation
