Kilgore Industries, one of the largest Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing subcontractors in the state of Texas is growing. The key to this growth is having the best team in the industry! We are looking for a Material Handler for our Round Rock, TX branch. The Material Handler is responsible for managing and maintaining all warehouse activities to ensure we provide the best service to our internal customers to position them to be the best subcontractor on the job site. This includes but is not limited to ensuring all inbound deliveries are received, stored, and properly relieved from the system. Manage and maintain all movements of assets in and out of the warehouse. Assist with fulfilling project team requests and managing all tools' maintenance and repairs. Assist with the local fleet activities, loading and unloading of material and assets, and the general upkeep of the warehouse and tool room areas. Develop and maintain a positive relationship with internal customers.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Receive and manage all inbound deliveries and storage space including offsite storage locations
- Manage and maintain all movements of assets in and out of the warehouse
- Manage and support regular maintenance and repairs of assets per manufacturing and OSHA requirements
- Assist with fulfilling Field requests
- Assist with loading and unloading material for jobsite deliveries
- Assist with upkeep of warehouse and tool room areas
- Assist with local fleet activities
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal customers
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Physically able to perform warehouse duties
- Warehouse experience
- Forklift experience
- Able to handle changing priorities
- Comfortable learning web-based software and apps (Hilti OnTrack, SharePoint, other programs)
- Strong organizational skills
- Valid Drivers license and clean driving record
- A basic understanding of Lean processes is a plus
