Nox Innovations is now hiring for a Material Handler position. This role will provide staff support for all aspects of the warehouse function and it will be located at our San Marcos, TX fabrication facility.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain current inventory records for materials and equipment received, stored, issued and transferred off-site. Monitor for re-stocking and/or returns as needed.
- Prepare and fulfill internal Nox material orders for the Fabrication Dept for assembly.
- File and maintain all material and equipment transaction forms and documentations including requisitions, freight bills shipment records and packing slips.
- Provide assistance to Nox Innovations' employees in securing needed materials, equipment, inventory and delivery items.
- Assist in scheduling and overseeing the shipping and delivery of materials, equipment, and inventory items as necessary including any permits and safety checks as required by law and/or Company policy.
- Maintain regular and effective communication with direct supervisor.
- Participate in the development and implementation of department standards and procedures.
- Perform other job-related responsibilities / functions as required by business needs.
- You may be required to obtain your OSHA 10 certification within your first 90 days of employment.
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule
- General knowledge of warehouse operations
- Ability to operate general warehouse equipment
- Dependable with quick response to management direction
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work from various heights via ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks and other safe work platforms and area when necessary.
- Ability for stand for long periods of time in one place.
- Ability to walk jobsites throughout the day.
- Able to work in extreme weather conditions and elements, indoor or outdoor, including heat, cold, rain, mud, dust, and snow depending on the job location.
Education/Certifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Valid driving record
