Are you an experienced professional in utility development projects? Growing company in Phoenix, AZ is looking for a Utility Project Coordinator to lead and oversee development projects, ensuring smooth coordination between developers, municipalities, and company divisions.
What You’ll Do:- Serve as a key liaison between company departments, developers, and agencies
- Prepare and manage development agreements in coordination with legal teams
- Oversee project tracking, compliance, and approvals to meet company standards
- Lead meetings with developers, municipalities, and utilities to coordinate new projects
- Ensure all necessary permits, easements, and approvals are secured before construction
- Train and guide company employees on development services procedures
? Education/Experience:
- 2 years of college coursework in civil or mechanical engineering OR 6 years of experience in water infrastructure design/review
- 5 years in technical review or design of water infrastructure with a utility company
- Understanding of engineering, design, and construction principles
- Knowledge of ADEQ, ADWR, ACC regulations, mapping, drafting, and materials used in water systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Google Earth Pro, and ARCGIS
? Other:- Must obtain an ADEQ Grade 2 Water Distribution Certification within 12 months of start date.
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs. and make field visits as needed
