Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead the harvest team, ensuring proper techniques and compliance with regulations
- Oversee the harvesting process, including cutting, trimming, drying, and curing cannabis
- Manage and coordinate the fresh frozen processing to maintain terpene profiles and product quality
- Ensure proper techniques are used for bucking marijuana, separating flowers from stems efficiently
- Supervise the cleaning and sanitation of dry rooms and all post-harvest equipment to meet health and safety regulations
- Work closely with cultivation and processing teams to ensure smooth transitions between growing, harvesting, and curing
- Track and document harvest metrics, including yield, waste, drying conditions, and production efficiency
- Train staff on best practices for handling and processing cannabis while ensuring a safe working environment
- Monitor and maintain humidity and temperature controls in dry rooms for optimal product preservation
- Oversee the proper disposal of plant waste in compliance with state and local regulations
- Work with compliance officers to ensure all record-keeping and reporting requirements are met
- Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient work environment to promote GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards
- 2 years of experience in a cannabis cultivation, harvesting, or post-harvest management role
- Strong understanding of state and local regulations regarding cannabis production and waste disposal
- Experience in fresh frozen processing, drying, and curing techniques
- Ability to lead and motivate a team while ensuring high productivity and quality standards
- Strong organizational and documentation skills to maintain accurate harvest logs and reports
- Knowledge of pest and contamination prevention in post-harvest environments
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot post-harvest machinery and drying room equipment
- Must be comfortable working in a physically demanding environment (lifting up to 50lbs, standing for long periods)
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in product quality
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Must be 21 years or older and able to pass a background check per state cannabis regulations
- Experience in large-scale cannabis operations
- Familiarity with Anden Dehumidifiers, Humidifiers and drying systems
- Certifications in GMP, OSHA, or METRC compliance
- Strong background in inventory management and compliance tracking
