Demolition Foreman

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to oversee our construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of construction management, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves managing teams, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Duties

• Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
• Manage and lead a team of workers, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contract documents to ensure accurate execution of project plans.
• Oversee budgeting processes, including tracking expenses and managing resources effectively.
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure that all work meets industry standards and specifications.
• Utilize software tools such as Prolog and ProCore for project management and documentation.
• Collaborate with contractors and subcontractors to coordinate schedules and resolve any issues that may arise during construction.
• Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular safety meetings.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction management or a similar role within the industry.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting practices related to construction projects.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and contract documents.
• Familiarity with quality control processes in construction settings.
• Experience with project management software such as Prolog or ProCore is preferred.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Knowledge of pipeline construction practices is a plus.
• Effective communication skills for liaising with team members, clients, and stakeholders.

Pay: From $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
