What are the responsibilities and job description for the Door/Hardware Field Service position at Kinship Group LLC?
While our main business location is in Auburn, WA, this is a remote position open to qualified candidates who reside within the United States.
Essential Functions
- Frequent overnight travel (>50%) to job sites across the United States.
- Conduct Site Surveys/Inspections for Sales Team.
- Conduct service calls, identify customer problems or needs and recommend solutions accordingly.
- Know products and services and how they can benefit individual customers.
- Provide technical and/or warranty support for Kinship supplied materials.
- Maintain schedule of all site surveys and field work in Outlook.
- Conduct pre-install meetings and confirm scheduled service work with customers prior to service date.
- Receive and QC material prior to installation or service work.
- Perform installation and/or service of door hardware, including low voltage electrical hardware.
- Retain core customers by providing excellent customer service.
- Participate in continuous product training.
- Complete forms and reporting in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
- Responsible use of company credit card and timely submission of monthly expense reports.
- Communicate professionally with colleagues and customers verbally and in writing.
- Safely perform physical demands as listed below.
Job Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Preferred Experience: 5 years’ minimum experience in door & hardware industry.
- Preferred Experience: Prior experience with door and hardware installation, as well as low voltage electrical hardware.
