Job Summary: Responsible for performing accounting tasks in maintaining the general ledger, processes accounting data. Prepares and processes the Hospital payroll or ability to act as back up to payroll processing when needed.
Educational / Regulatory Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance with accounting emphasis or courses.
- Minimum of two years experience in an accounting department preferred.
- Experience in payroll services preferred.

Skills:
- Proficient with Excel and comfortable in learning and working with General Ledger, Budget, Accounts Payable and Payroll software.
- General knowledge of clerical accounting practices i.e. processing forms, reconciling accounts.
- Knowledgeable of office equipment including posting machine.
