Job Description
Kirk Eye Center, located in River Forest, Chicago & Glen Ellyn, IL, is seeking a Full-Time Ophthalmic Scribe.
Job Overview:
Are you a recent graduate in Pre-Med, Psychology, or a related field, and looking for an opportunity to gain valuable experience before continuing your education? Consider becoming an Ophthalmic Scribe at Kirk Eye Center. In this role, you will work closely with our doctors, documenting details of patient exams into our electronic health record system. Additionally, you will learn to check vision and intraocular pressures. The ideal candidate will also have the opportunity to work in our accredited surgery center and gain experience in medical billing and coding.
Over the past six years, three-quarters of our scribes have been accepted into medical, optometry, or nursing programs. We strongly encourage professional growth and advancement.
