Position Summary
The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for the management of the sales team and execution of a sales process that will allow Kiski Precision to increase sales 30% year on year while working with manufacturing to ensure profit objectives are continuously met. This role reports to a growth minded President and will collaborate with them on the development of the sales team and the design and implementation of the sales process. As the leader of a small and growing sales team, this role will also sell.

Essential Functions
- Sell directly to customers
- Manage and develop a sales team responsible for 100% of customer engagement across all requests for quotes
- Ensure all facets of customer engagement are executed to the highest level from the customers initial interest to when the sales is closed
- Be in the office, with the team, every day; This is not a work from home position
- The sales team is responsible for hosting and coordinating all customer visits to the factory
- Develop and maintain all KPI’s related to the sales team and its performance
- Conduct performance and wage reviews for everyone on the sales team
- Through management of the sales team, this role is responsible for the consumption, assignment, scheduling, prioritization, and response of all incoming RFQ’s
- Collaborate with the estimating team to ensure strategic opportunities are converted to active accounts
- Monitor and adjust pricing strategies to maintain a competitive edge
- Collaborate with management to develop marketing collateral for respective market segments in order to drive demand generation

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong proactive approach to selling

- Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical specifications and drawings
- High proficiency with spreadsheet-type math and applications
- Strong understanding of contract manufacturing processes and capabilities

- Skilled at defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a technical discipline or Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in business from an accredited college or university, required
- Technical degree (Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Physics), preferred
- Minimum of five years in a technical field with business and/or commercial experience, required
- Minimum of three years in a sales role
- Required technical, business, or market experience in the manufacturing industry
Work Conditions / Physical Requirements
- Work is generally performed in an office environment
- When not traveling; working from the office is expected
- May be required to sit for extended periods of time
- The employee may occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
