WHAT IS THE OBJECTIVE OF THE BAKESHOP CAPTAIN AT KITCHEN KETTLE VILLAGE?
This position has the responsibility of spreading happiness and making sure that all aspects of the Bakeshop meet company standards by: 1) ensuring all team members are properly trained and follow company policies and procedures 2) ensuring guests have an exceptional experience 3) maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work and guest environment, and 4) communicating all matters of concern, discrepancies, and team member recommendations to Coach. The Bakeshop Captain is responsible for all aspects of production and sales of baked goods.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Monitor, coach, and onboard team members
- Perform team member check-ins
- Ensure that all guests receive outstanding service
- Perform payroll verification
- Scheduling
- Ensure all labor laws are followed
- Update, follow, and keep all recipes confidential
- Oversee quality control
- Monthly inventory
- Abide by the company’s cooking methods, kitchen rules, and policies
- Opening and closing of the department
- All other related duties as required and assigned
- Saturday and holiday work required
