Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Control Specialist to join our team at Klickitat Public Utility. As an Electrical Control Specialist, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and troubleshooting tasks on our SCADA systems, as well as providing technical support for the operation of our generation and renewable energy facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform supervised and unsupervised operation and expansion of the PUD's SCADA and other control and communications systems
- Provide technical support as directed for the operation of all equipment associated with generation and renewable energy facilities, Water/Wastewater Systems/Facilities, electrical transmission and distribution systems, and substations
Requirements
- Graduate of an Instrumentation and Control program or equivalent education/experience desired
- Valid First Aid/CPR Card, or the ability to obtain within 3 months of regular status employment
- Post-offer background check required
- Post-offer drug test required
- Post-offer physical/functional test required
