Factory Help/Production Assistant/Textile Co./Knitting Mill/Blanket Manufacturer

We have a full-time, temporary job(until December 15, 2024) for in individual to perform various duties involved with the finishing of the blankets we manufacture. No experience is necessary. Experience with textiles is a plus!

You must be able to work 5 days per week, Monday-Friday, 8 hours per day. Starting time is 7:00am.
Duties are varied and include, but are not limited to:

• Inspection of fabric
• Preparation of fabric for seamstresses
• Trimming threads left by seamstresses
• Folding and packaging the finished blankets
• Be reliable and able to work in a fast paced environment
• Be able to clearly understand and communicate with co-workers
• Have good attention to detail and the ability to stand and walk all day
• Have experience working in a production or manufacturing setting

You will be on your feet the entire day.

Your primary responsibility will be to prepare the partially sewn blankets for the next step in the sewing process. This involves folding and inspecting the partially sewn blankets before moving them on to the next work station.

Extra hours may be available in the Fall and we work an occasional Saturday. If you exceed 40 hours for any given week, you will be paid overtime.

This position will be active until December 15, 2024, at which time we will evaluate whether or not to continue the position through January, 2025.

You must be able to communicate with your co-workers, be authorized to work in the USA, have a great work ethic and get along well with your co-workers. We are a small company and require a variety of duties from our employees.
