Location: This is an in-person role (M-F) at our South Plainfield office
About Us: TLI Home, a leading importer and wholesaler of home textiles and trendy home decor products, has been serving Off-Price retailers for over 30 years
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Production Merchandiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage daily communication with our overseas offices, product costing, sample approvals, and work closely with the sales and PD teams to execute all production-related requests in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage communication related to production orders with Asia offices – including sample approval, pricing, production timelines, packaging, placing purchase orders
- Order management – create purchase orders, manage SKUs and delivery changes
- Review PP and TOP samples and give approvals to Asia
- Work closely with Product Development and Sales
- Knowledge of Logistics, Order Consolidation is a plus
Qualifications:
- Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and effective time management
- A quick learner with strong logical and problem-solving skills to excel in production
- Bachelor’s degree in fashion merchandising, business, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in Textile production or merchandising within home textiles or apparel
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables
